Interesting its rank on CMC has risen up to its rank on Coinfairvalue, 37. Would love to see it lead an alt bull run. Quoting: syncro Like a phoenix rising from the ashes. It has gone from the 60s to the 30s in crypto marketcap rank in the matter of a month or so!!!!!! |

My question is, how will DGB catch up to Dash without a funding or governance model? How do they pay their development teams and biz dev teams for greater adoption? Dash pays 10% of its blockreward to developers and grassroots teams that are voted on by the masternodes. Masternode owners have the most stake in Dash's success, so their votes are basically taking a poll of your shareholders to determine network direction. How does DGB accomplish the same thing? |

It was the coin that pioneered Multi-Algorithm mining. Andreas Antonopoulos wrote about it. Its not as fast as DGB, but it is way, way, more secure. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78801498 Seriously undervalued. Yeah no. MyriadCoin started Mar 09 2014. Dash started Feb 15th 2014 so almost a month earlier. Dash has X11 which is 11 hashing algorithms, which means that Dash was the first coin that pioneered multi-algo mining, not DBG nor myriadcoin. Dash. Its funny how far people go to ignore Dash, just like they pretend and lie like they're better than N'egroes...interesting parallels. |

X11 works by combing 11 individual hash functions (hence the number 11 in X11) into one algorithm. Because obviously you dont know anything you are talking about. You can only mine X11 with Dash. With XMY you can mine 5 separate ones. Independently. Thats how it innovated it. |

Originally, I didn't notice that DGB's algorithms had asymetric difficulty adjustment or that X11 merely combined the hashing into a singular function, thanks for that. Still, my original question remains. |

Originally, I didn't notice that DGB's algorithms had asymetric difficulty adjustment or that X11 merely combined the hashing into a singular function, thanks for that. Still, my original question remains. Although technically I wasn't actually wrong. I stated that Dash pioneered "multi-Algorithm" mining, which is true. Although X11 is eventually one algorithm, it still relies on multiple algorithms to come to a result, each hash from one is just chained into the next to form a "single" one. But they're still all different algorithms. My error was in not noting the distinction between the simultaneous nature of DGB/XMY's algorithms. Both are "multi-algo mining" hash-schemes, but DGB and Myriad are a step further in that the algorithms are all run independently. Not knowing that was a mistake; however, I was correct in that Dash is still the first multi-algo mining coin with X11, which was an innovation at the time. |
