Beaumont has made it clear, over the past couple months, that they had intended to close their Wayne hospital (and you're right, more than likely, it's because of a lack of income). Though, that's just it. Hospitals are businesses, if they don't make enough money, they shut down. Especially now, when they're not doing elective procedures, surgeries, etc. There is no income. Believe it or not, Hospitals are not run on good faith, rainbows, and happy thoughts. Wayne county is a very poor county. Add in a global pandemic that 1.) sky rockets unemployment and 2.) stops all elective procedures - and you've got an already struggling Hospital that is operating at a net loss. Are you fucking that stupid or are you just a shill? A hospital has 50 unaccounted bodies and you think that's normal? For a hospital that was already destined to shut down? Do you know how much each of those (alleged) covid bodies are worth to that particular state? ANSWER: 300K per body. You don't think there's ANY financial incentive to move them to another facility, in hopes no one would notice and likely in some dirty exchange of under the table funds? |
