I've been going to the walmarts every dang week (Georgia) since this "thing started".

No mask, no nothing. Matter of fact, been doing any thing I've wanted to. Been working, been outside in yard. I really don't know wtf all this was about to be honest.

Yep Walmart here is the same way, almost fully stocked, people masked up including Walmart staff and cashiers and one way isles and entrances.

Has anyone been in a Petsmart lately? I need to go there but can wait if its Lines outside ect.

They were here, limits on TP and some other items but didnt have any problem getting what I went there for.

Has anybody ever wondered how Walmart, Target, Kroget Aldi etc were able to score the super fancy social distancing signs and floor stickers within 24 hours of Trump's announcement? I mean the nation had barely even caught onto the term yet...

Now Walmart has even fancier stickers directing traffic but that plan took a few weeks to implement because they were waiting on supplies?

I went yesterday. No one was walking in the “right” direction from what I could tell. I also bought as much meat as I wanted.

Other than the line to get in it appeared to be business as usual where I am, too.

Agreed. I was also thinking that about the plastic shields between the cashier and customer. Those popped up in just the right sizes, seemingly, overnight.

Beyond that, the only thing that changed is almost every retailer has signs "We're hiring" everywhere.

I went to Smart & Final at night. So nice & empty. There was hardly anyone shopping (right before closing is the time to go).
When you first walk in, they have a spray bottle with some liquid in it & a whole mess of folded brown paper towels and a little garbage pail.

Nothing weird in the store til you get to the check out. They have this big plastic thing like banks have. The cashier said something. I walked to the end of the plastic, peaked over & said "I can't hear anything".
She laughed & joked about the mask & gloves she had on. She said everything is muffled so she kind of yells.

I haven't been to the Walmart lately-kind of afraid with all you guys' comments but this is a small conservative town so I doubt they do it extreme but the Cali liberals are back over here now since they lifted the ban in San Bernadino county.

Those people come over here to shop & if they all start complaining, then the stores have to appease them.

It's like we open up on Friday and everybody thinks things are back to normal! No masks, no social distancing. Anybody want to take bets on what our numbers will look like in another month?
