I'd say about 70% of the people had no masks or gloves and the 6ft thing is total bullshit. Half of them were just standing in place staring at the shelves like mindless sheep. The other half seemed to be on cell phones just taking up space. These people don't give a fuck. My hope for the future is that this method of shopping will vanish ie people being packed in a superstore like sardines. The store was so packed you couldn't move two feet without someone being up your ass. If you get sick, you can bet your ass its gonna be because you went to walmart or some other equally vile place. |

I asked a cashier why they were doing it and she mumbled something about thinking it had something to do with curbside pickup and directing people to an alternate entrance... which also made no sense because the interior of the store is open, and the corral chutes didn’t direct to a specific part of the store, it just created funnels that you had to follow to navigate the otherwise open parking lot. She also said they’re doing the same thing at another location she works at. Shit makes no sense at all... I am a Christian. In short the person videoing the encounter (why?) verbally called out the other person for methodically and very quickly going through each piece of displayed equipment (mostly laptops) and working each lid & putting her right palm on each screen...no protective mask or gloves. Frankly it appears as if the handler was testing each laptop to see how easy the lid works and how big the screen really is relative to her hand ..but...something doesn’t make sense about the sound of the video and the context...perhaps an old video with new voice over? Meh |
