I mean the nation had barely even caught onto the term yet... Quoting: Bright Side Now Walmart has even fancier stickers directing traffic but that plan took a few weeks to implement because they were waiting on supplies? Just more things to make you go hmmmm... It's called color laser printers. We've been printing them for Penske and U of M. I’d like to know where in the hell they got these surgical masks because I can’t find them, but more than half had them on whereas the other half were wearing cloth masks. There were plenty of people who were WELL over the age of 60 in the place. That surprised me a bit. Store was okay as far as food. As I walked by some aisles, I noticed low on canned and pasta. Only about a dozen things of toilet paper and limiting to one per customer. Crappy paper towels. No cleaning supplies...shelves were just about empty. Hardly any fabric or sewing supplies. When I mean hardly, mostly empty shelves and racks. I cannot emphasize this enough...it was packed and no distancing whatsoever. IDK why I thought there would be some sort of order to it all, lol but not even close. They all gave zero shits! We are definitely the guinea pigs. If the cases don’t spike in a couple weeks, then the rest of the country is likely good to go! I am in a heavily suburban area...Cobb County. "May the road rise up to meet you.... May the wind be always at your back..." |

Quoting: Conservatarian No mask, no nothing. Matter of fact, been doing any thing I've wanted to. Been working, been outside in yard. I really don't know wtf all this was about to be honest. It's a attack on our freedom. Everyone knows that! |

User ID: 78659823 United States 04/25/2020 06:03 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I went to Academy today and it was the same, with an added bonus: an inexplicable parking lot corral they’d created by blocking lanes with shopping carts: Quoting: ScrumpTheTexan [link to imgur.com (secure)] The entire lot was open and you could park wherever you liked, you just had to do it while being funneled through their newly made corral chutes. I asked a cashier why they were doing it and she mumbled something about thinking it had something to do with curbside pickup and directing people to an alternate entrance... which also made no sense because the interior of the store is open, and the corral chutes didn’t direct to a specific part of the store, it just created funnels that you had to follow to navigate the otherwise open parking lot. She also said they’re doing the same thing at another location she works at. Shit makes no sense at all... WTF I've never seen such clean carts. They clean the carts & then put the handles on the filthy ground. What idiots. |

I went to Wu-Mart and it was big black booty spandex day so I got treated to that. White people not wearing masks, black people all had medical grade masks somehow... Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78033056 Mexicans (whatever shithole they hail from) all not wearing anything or speaking English as usual. Here is the party your don't get. Without blacks and Hispanics your communities would die. They are doing as it is, and I say that work only sorrow. Managed just fine for centuries. Quality of living was so much better before gubmint forced you on us. Still better when I visit the rare all White town. But for some reason y'all follow us everywhere. |

There is a very popular video on youtube that shows how to make a no sew mask with a couple rubber bands. Works really well. "May the road rise up to meet you.... Anonymous Coward User ID: 31281478 Canada 04/25/2020 06:19 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Haven’t been to Walmart in 6 weeks. Had to get a few things as online shipping is taking forever. Quoting: PENG Put on a mask and headed in. Oh shit! First of all, there was NO difference today compared to any other Saturday (virus free). The place was packed. I would say half were wearing masks. Walmart has all these signs on the floors telling you to stay six feet away and also what direction to go down the aisles. That was the biggest waste of money they spent. Literally no one was abiding by the six feet apart rule, nor were they going in the correct direction. Basically, anyone who cared, just gave up because it was pointless. No monitoring either, of course. I had to go from front of store to back and it made no difference. It was a free for all. Someone without a mask let out a big ass sneeze and I did a 180 and left. All I have to say is we better hope Kemp made the right decision because it is business as normal in my area. That's actually really good to hear. Maybe we can pull through this. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77222866 People were and are still staying away from each other and the stores have a lot less people in them then before this started. So maybe Georgia is just full of retards or something. Ha, we are gonna find out for sure in a couple weeks! Like I said, if we don’t see a huge spike i the next couple of weeks here, then this was a farce. Because there is no way you can have a virus that contagious and have a shitload of people in a Walmart with no order whatsoever, and come out alive in a couple weeks. Just praying I didn’t get anything. "May the road rise up to meet you.... May the wind be always at your back..." |

Like I said, if we don’t see a huge spike i the next couple of weeks here, then this was a farce. Quoting: PENG Not necessarily. There's a theory more deadly or less severe strains of SARS-CoV-2 are circulating in parts of the world, and that some areas are being helped by herd immunity after originally being slapped down hard by the virus. Georgia could be in any one of those categories. Studies in California show it may have had SARS-CoV-2 as long ago as December, if not earlier. |
