Just like ahhhhh wait for it , wait for it . The FLU ! !

He means it stays in the body for life like Chicken Pox or something and reemerges when your immune system is weak.

The flu mutates enough every year that the antibody's from previous infections don't prevent infection from the new strain.

However most chronic viruses are DNA viruses.

This is an RNA virus so it's probably not chronic meaning reinfection would have to be caused by either immunity not lasting or mutation that makes the previous antibody's worthless like the flu.

For an eye opener, check out the Dean Koontz book "The Eyes of Darkness". Skip to chapter 39, -pg 310 specifically if you get the paperback version. It talks about A Chinese defector named Li Chen defecting with a respiratory bug named "Wuhan 400" that is highly contagious and kills people within hours. It was written in 1981. Then there's Sylvia Browns' "The End of Days" from the early 2000's I believe, where she predicted a virulent "pneumonia like" disease emerging in 2020, ravishing the world, disappearing, and re merging again in 2030.

But you will be fine because mommy said you are special. She meant the kind of "special" that rides the short bus.

The spiritualists here call the virus "the reaper"..and there will be a second "reaper" coming soon, stronger and deadlier.
