Actually digging that 6500 spinning reel. Couple years ago kayaked 11 miles off 13 mile rd in Galveston to the first oil rig. 65ft deep. Could see down 20+ feet, sharks swarming. Cast straight down using mullet, limited out on kingfish. What a day. Sharks would snap the line so quick, if you held on you would capsized and become sharkbait. What a thrill

Galveston beaches are 100% trash, they use bulldozers to pile theup huge piles of stinking seaweed on the beach, the restaurants are garbage.
