It's Connecticut, and they didn't feel wasting a test on me that late on the game would have been worth anything.
I've been exposed to a number a people who had this virus, so it was just par for the course...and a bit of a ticking time bomb.
The doctor that saw me told me that 1/3rd of tests are turning up false negatives! We had a few severely ill family members here over the weeks, some are first responders, and every test was coming up (rather impossibly) negative...but it was also taking about 10 days for results, so that's no bueno!
I don't put much faith in the results of some of these tests right now. You have to go with symptoms first, tests secondary...

I asked about that, and my doctor saw many positive cases with no breathing issues at all. That's one reason why I didn't go to the ER, but I knew that something was wrong, but kind of passed it off. Instead, I went to work, was immediately sent home (because I was ill), and was recommended to go see a doctor and be evaluated. No one would have given a shit if I only had a cold. I had co-workers literally freaking-the-fuck-out because of how ill I was presenting on that morning...
