What type of test were you given, and what state if you don't mind me asking... Get better  It's Connecticut, and they didn't feel wasting a test on me that late on the game would have been worth anything. I've been exposed to a number a people who had this virus, so it was just par for the course...and a bit of a ticking time bomb. The doctor that saw me told me that 1/3rd of tests are turning up false negatives! We had a few severely ill family members here over the weeks, some are first responders, and every test was coming up (rather impossibly) negative...but it was also taking about 10 days for results, so that's no bueno! I don't put much faith in the results of some of these tests right now. You have to go with symptoms first, tests secondary... Do you think it's possible they were coming up negative because that's not what they were sick with? exactly....I am doing Covid investigations for public health as a nurse....I investigate positives...believe me we cannot get though our piles of files....there are so many.... But there are also other illnesses out there. I thought I had COVID as I had horrible symptoms and it was Flu B.... so, there are many other spring viruses out there. Not just COVID. OP, feel better and take care. If your breathing goes south, go right to an ER....be well....
