You're lucky, my home was built in the mid 70's for 30k, Texas tax man has NEVER said it looses any value. Now they claim it is worth 150k and are raising the taxes an average of 8.5 percent. The roof has 3 leaks, the rock facing is cracking and coming loose, the front and back patio have 2 inch wide cracks. I'm suspicious the house foundation might have a hair line crack as the house makes pops and moans. The central air system is so old that I now use space heaters in winter. The plumbing is bad too, but yet every year they claim it is worth more and more. I guess if they can't kill us off on ventilators, they will make everyone on a limited income homeless. |

If you stretch and apply "conservatism" to Sharia-loving, jihad-enabling Islamic nations, then you might come up with quasi-rightwing versions of a San Francisco or Venezuela. But that's quite a stretch. Even more so since it's mainly liberals, not conservatives - at least in the West - who are soft touches for Sharia-loving, jihad-enabling Muslims and Islam. |
