Which is safer radiation-wise, using a cellphone connected to a cellular network or connected to wifi?

It depends on the model of the phone every phone has an SAR rating that has to be posted, its the standard amount of radiation that is emitted and there's multiple antennas and channels that do this. one is for Wi-Fi 1 is for cellular sometimes there's multiple for cellular or Wi-Fi

they are legally supposed to post the SAR rating and if you went somewhere like verizon website and started shopping for phones they would have the SAR listed on the website under the specs of the phone

From my experience in the cellphone field I phones typically have a higher SAR rating meaning they put out more radiation

At its core its both radio waves, one needs to transmit miles away, one need to transmit feet away....so what does your heart tell you?

Neither is great. Wifi is much safer.

The wifi is lower frequency and it really is the frequency that affects cells. However, the base station is in your house and he cell tower is typically far away. Those cell towers are at higher power then the cell phone so they are really not great to be around.

Fat is we should have fibre to every home and business and connect directly to that and rid the world of all radio waves.

Even when the phone is connected to wifi, it is still communicating with cellphone towers.

Just wear a wired headset and keep the phone away from your head.

I should get a wired headset. I've gotten to the point where I really dislike talking on my cell phone. I have a VOIP phone, 1980s desk phone, for longer calls.

Should have added, I never embraced speaker phone feature, it just doesn't do it for me.
