My husband just lost his job a week ago... no one is hiring for jobs that pay more than $10-12 an hour. My husband worked in fraud/ data management for a gun/prep store. They were booming until they ran out of stock on everything but ammo... they cut over half the department because they weren't going to take a loan out, and had enough in cash to hold them over with a skeleton crew.
My husband overheard the site manager say he when he hires new employees back in a few months he won't have to pay near as much because people will be begging for jobs.
