Dow and all the others markets reflect only how big businesses will / are doing With the current scam we are seeing all small / medium businesses get put out leaving nothing but big retail / food / etc If the little town has a McDonald’s and a Taco Bell competing with mom and pop restaurants what happens when the economy crashes? I know The McDonald’s and Taco Bell’s will weather the storm with the billions they have and wait out until there is nothing left of mom and pop shops. Amazon booming Walmart booming Costco booming Little stores not so much Dow is a total disconnect from reality  Excellent comment!!!! The big companies reflect The System. The Mom and Pops reflect US. Our family try to support the Mom and Pops - we have NOT been going to the chains during this SCAM, but the small companies have such low margins, it may not be enough to keep them going. Yes One poster above said mom and pop businesses will comeback True But it will take many years That is if the sheeple don’t stray from corporate I don’t have much faith But it won't be mom and pop anymore. Next generation Millennials will be running the small businesses and wow are they amazing. They have new ideas and are way more efficient and practical then the old days. They know the customer base and they can change direction in an instant. The thing about the old mom and pop was that they depended on Tradition. On a certain way of life that would NEVER change. Well the world changed. The mom and pops are obsolete for all practicality. Many millennials have home businesses already, Etsy, ebay, all from basements and garages. They sell everything from wheat sprouts and fresh produce to gadgets for everyday use. Some amazing stuff. Local Delivery Service will also be booming. I'm optimistic.
