Who knows what the “designated liaison” actually sends to the Dept. of Public Health. And who knows how this person is chosen. Also, per the code of regulations, all “COVID19 related” deaths are to be reported within one hour. Last I checked, autopsies take around 72 hrs to complete and that’s without a long waitlist. Only then can you determine the true cause of death. I’m sure similar codes exist nationwide but that needs further investigation. What are the reporting requirements in your state? A quick visit to your public health dept website will have the letters and forms. ** Make sure to look at the health professionals site instead of public site. ** Linky: [link to publichealth.lacounty.gov] |
