I'd oppose masks but I live in the totalitarian shithole known as Maryland. The police are patrolling looking for unmasked people & I need to be out & about. I imagine I'm hoaxtard #1 on GLP (& proud of it).

Anyone who thinks there’s any merit to wearing a mask 6 months after it was spread everywhere is in need of a Thorazine drip. That ain’t an opinion, it’s a fact.

I believe the virus is real. Epidemics occur naturally and this is nothing outside the normal cycle of life.

However, I do believe, the powers at be are trying to use the virus as a ploy for political gain.

The virus is real and seems to be deadly to to some of the aged and weak among us but nothing extraordinary. I will wear some sort of mask when, if, and where required by law but so far that has not been the case where I live and with the panic subsiding I doubt it ever will.

If only 10 % don't wear a mask...isn't it a matter of time till all dead?

I won't wear a mask unless I have to. In Pa. you have to have one on to enter a store. I see many people taking them off as soon as they leave a store including myself. I am hoping it is eventually challenged in court.

I meant to append a poll on this, and forgot to hit the correct button. But the title really clarifies what I was after anyway.

My position is this....Been following this since it hit in the beginning to middle of January. There appears to be enough evidence to support the Nobel laureate's opinion that this is indeed a manmade virus.

A whole BUNCH of stuff about this is sketchy at best. Certainly.

But I think the virus is real, we are learning more, and we have some very effective treatment, so we need to slowly and carefully open. With masks. Because if I have it and am an asymptomatic spreader, droplets and residue will be curtailed from hitting surfaces in my vicinity and vice versa.

Additionally, I think masks help jack with the facial recognition bs, and anything that impedes that is generally good.

But for people who work as clerks etc, I think they need to go to 6 hours instead of 8. There are certainly concerns with masks for too many hours in a day as it does impede breathing a bit.

So there ya go. That's what I think.

Tl;dr

I think we should all wear masks, but not for more than 6 hours a day.
