All humans are blessed with a subconscious death wish. Don't underestimate how this works in our recovery.

Risk is built into human nature. We're programmed at birth to take risks. We flirt with death every day. Just ask any smoker, mountain climber, car driver. Part of this innate feature is a psychological pressure valve to handle the fact that we all know our death is coming, and living inside risks keeps us from going insane.

Human life has evolved because we took risks and succeeded. We'll get back to normal soon because people are more afraid of death than they are of risks.
