host your own videos.

after a few months the spiders will crawl/index the site and you should be showing up in search results.

after enough time, you should start to rank well

To host hour long Youtube videos on a home internet connection, which will typically max out the bandwidth if 20 people connect to it?

Then there's the issue of intellectual property rights.
