I understand to a point what you are saying OP, I have had people in my life that I never thought would awaken start to send me conspiracy information recently. And yes, the things they send sometimes are a little outrageous.

But instead of ridiculing and judging people for the awakening that they are going through, why not encourage them to keep searching and seeking truth? When I first started realizing how deceptive this world is, I jumped from one outrageous conspiracy to another.

I look at this as an opportunity for those of us who have been on the journey longer to be supportive of those who are finally opening their eyes. It is going to take every one of us working together to turn this country around and the more who are awakened the better, no matter where they are at.

Trust me, they are awakening at a rapid pace. Even my eighty-year-old parents talk about "fake news" now. If nothing else, Trump's radical behavior has been useful to point out a lot of BS in this world.

You have a point, but not anywhere near as bad as the desperate libitard latching on to the most fantastical bullshit one can imagine to maintain their worldview. When you have a corrupt media that is controlled by very few pushing these narratives, I suppose it’s explainable.

I got into this argument with one of my more liberal friends, and we both agree that Trump is inarticulate and a bit dangerous at times as a result, but I had to ask him in the end - which is more dangerous to the country? A somewhat inarticulate but well intentioned POTUS, or a group of tyrannical and very powerful wannabe dictators that are willing to lie, cheat and steal in pursuit of their power, selling our country out to the highest bidder in pursuit of personal gain and then going so far as to weaponize our intelligence agencies and media to achieve their objectives?

We get it that Trump isn’t perfect, but we also know his intent and are willing to give him some grace when he misspeaks. I would also like to point out that almost every single time Trump is demonized and excoriated for one statement or another, it almost always has substance and is proven accurate very shortly thereafter. Problem is that we have a corrupt media unwilling to acknowledge their mistake when that happens, so most people that base their perceptions on the latest headlines or bullshit pundits don’t ever see that Trump was actually right.

Cognitive dissonance or normalcy bias is a very real thing, and most of us suffer from it after years of corporate media brainwashing, but we’d best all get our collective heads out of that corporate ass very soon. Because if we don’t, those conspiracies many now believe to be ridiculous become reality. By then it will be too late.
