If you worked as a laborer, say landscaping, paid $15 an hour, WHY would you go to work if youre getting $2000 per month - or $4000 for married ?!

You WOULD STOP WORKING AS A SLAVE AND GO OUT SPENDING.

So imagine if everyone mowing lawns for companies, other people etc suddenly said to hell with it - all the grasses everywhere would grow five feet high in a month.

That would bring disease through immense insect infestation.

Just one example.

All the poor people and lower middle class would immediately cease to render their services and the economy would be a shambles.

We have a contracting team doing a big project across the street on property my wife manages. They already have a tuff time getting paid monthly by the absentee landlords. I can picture all of them quitting the moment money becomes so cheap.

Everyone gets greedy when something is given for nothing. Hoarding of everything in sight will be the next epidemic. Because everyone wants to jump ahead of their fellow citizens and get tangible items before others can get them.

Which means hyperinflation of price. Instantly this will take place.

Just like a thread today described how you couldnt barely park at Lowes. And everywhere was packed.

Why ? Because everyone - or most - have gotten their stim checks.

Those who got them first want to get out and get stuff before all the cheap money arrives at those who havent gotten theirs yet.

Greed will become rampant. And that will engender violence.

After seeing some of the threads today i already am hesitant to venture out. As people are becoming irrational. And its contagious.

Look this is all smoke and mirrors. I have been trying to get the damn $600 a week and it is a roadblock at every corner. I finally get the right paper work submitted and then they send a email with a link. But guess what they blocked my social # and now I have to call in on a number nobody has answered in weeks to get it reset. It is just BS.

I think the huge majority of money would go to pay bills.
I know in my family everyone used the stimulus to pay bills, except for the people on disability, who used it to buy furniture and redo kitchen decor. I guess they didn't have bills. Dunno. I used mine to pay part of my tax bill.

Nothing is free, but if big banks and big corporations continue to get socialist handouts time and time again at the expense of us hard working tax payers, then why not us?
