If you believe this was a hoax or manufactured, as I do, then there will be a second wave and maybe more.

The (fill in the blank) did this for a reason and the question is...have they obtained their goal? I am thinking not. So it will be rinse and repeat until they do.

I do NOT think We, the People will consent to lock downs next time. This whole "boy who cried wolf" safer-at-home debacle has seen to that.

I'm honestly really unsure though. Like you, I'm not even considering the validity of it or not in the answer. I just can't see them lifting the measures and then trying or even being able to put them back in place soon after without people dying in the street or something.

Too many peaceful families will flood the public land that the government just can't stop it. We all got self contained RVs now, side of the road is a good enough parking spot and then hike into nature. Can't show up with rifles and tell 4 generations of people calmly eating out of a wicker basket to disperse or be shot. That's craziness. Next fall when it's just single guys hunting and the last of fishing before freezeup, then it'll be enforced.

Maybe the real heat of summer they'll say if we don't comply they'll drop the hammer. And we won't, so 3 weeks later they'll be organized with our lacations known.

All of those who cry for their freedom to get their hair and nails done, all too often, forget that it comes with deep responsibility to themselves and to all of those around them.

They tend not to think too deeply and certtianly do not think about tommorrow or others.

If cases spike, the government will not order a 2nd shutdown. But the people certainly would.

The people call the shots - when it's safe, people open up. If it's not, it's shut-down city. No orders needed.

Case in point - Georgia's been open for over 2 weeks, and yet cases are declining. That's because everyone's favorite eatery and gym are still closed around here. The ones that are open have like 5 customers.

Georgia may be "open", but it's still closed. It'll be July before things really get closer to normal, and that's if cases drop to very low levels.

Their most certainly will be a 2nd wave of infections. The 4 strains of the virus ensure it along with human nature to be nasty.

The plan for the last 4 months was to have as many as 10-12 lockdown periods of 2-3 months each followed by a 1 month easing of restictions due to civil unrest and to keep the economy limping along.

Thier is no way they can open back up fully and the economy is toasted and done permanently. A new way of doing things will rise from the ashes and we only have guesses as to what it will look like 2-3 years from now.

Most people protesting aren't protesting so they can go back to work. They are protesting so that others HAVE to go back to work. So they can get their hair cut, or sit in a restaurant.

Basically just a bunch of Karen's. You can tell by their refusal to take any sort of precaution - they're all maskless and close together protesting in hopes that they can breathe all up in their hair dressers face soon.

Current medical research out of Korea, dispels the myth of a second wave.
It proves:
A) faulty testing and second guessing of the results.
B) That once infected, you can not be reinfected,( ie herd Immunity).
So no "second" wave.

The military has already come out and permently banned from military service, everyone who has ever tested postive for the virus. This was announced just 2-3 days ago. The Pentagon spokeswaoman refused to tell military.com the reasons for it.

If you have been paying attention, there is no medical evidence that this virus ever leaves the human body and there is some evidence to suggest that this virus hides in the body and reactivates later on.

There is evidence to suggest it is bi-phasic or even multi-phasic just like hiv and herpes.

If there is any immunity to the virus it is very short such as a few weeks at best.

We do not know the long term effects of being infected is.

It could well be that healthy people and children just take longer to get sick then others as the virus destroys the immune system causing lycopenia which leads to AID's.

Yes the virus does attack both white and red blood cells.

This thing is a beast in countless ways.

Prevent these future possible lockdowns by contacting your state and federal legislators and DEMANDING that they adopt/legislate the Swedish model to deal with any future waves or pandemics. The current model of isolating the healthy will only delay the population gaining herd immunity while continuing to decimate the economy as well as mental health across the nation.
