According to the DNI, NSA received these amounts of SIGINT "unmasking" requests per year:
2016: 9200
2017: 9500
2018: 17000
2019: 10000
Something very odd was happening in 2018. Remind me who was in the White House then...

I saw this cited on fox recently but it was NOT referring to gross # of unmasking but rather referrer to “# of persons unmasked.” BIG DIFFERENCE. As proven by todays release of part of the Flynn unmaskings (DURING STATED PERIOD ONLY), the Obama admin likely made many multiple unmasking requests (gross #) on many of its targets. This argues the gross number of Obama unmaskings is substantially higher than indicated... like try x39+ Higher
