On the subject of protests
For whatever reasons, humans often go through a process leading up to something else. The Declaration of Independence is a good example. Obviously, like the current protests, that wasn't enough. Tyrants/psychopaths cannot be reasoned with. There is no "law", either. There is only force.

I recently followed the case of a young woman who went missing in Colorado. Turns out the father of her child beat her to death with a baseball bat. As psychopaths are wont to do, he recounted the final moments to someone else and the last words his baby's mother spoke as he was swinging the bat were "please stop".
In his poem Human Pride, Marx admits that his aim is not to improve the world, reform or revolutionize it, but simply to ruin it and enjoy it being ruined:

With disdain I will throw my gauntlet full in the face of the world,
And see the collapse of this pygmy giant whose fall will not stifle my ardor.
Then will I wander godlike and victorious through the ruins of the world
And, giving my words an active force, I will feel equal to the Creator.

Normalize every aberrant behavior, bring common all deviancy and let fly the reins of morality and reason, then welcome in that utopia that liberals embrace called communism, that which most Americans with but a shard of ethic would immediately recognize as evil.

Re: On the subject of protests
My state just started requiring face masks in public starting May 15. Thisdespite the fact we have one of the lowest (fake) rates of transmission and infection. All that means isthat our state government is deep in the pockets of the Phoenician Navy, but we already knew that.Anyway, the word to the wise is that there are exemptions here, and there are probably exemptions inyour state or country.

Here, two of the exemptions are for exercise and eating. So if you don't feel likemaking a scene and getting arrested on purpose, this makes it fantastically easy to walk around the law.I just carry a bag of granola with me at all times, and if cops or other people who think they areauthorities are around I eat from it slowly.

If you are hassled, you can also drop and do a few pushupsor jog in place. This law is basically unenforceable, but if they are hassling people in your area, theseare things you can do to push back while having fun. Also, if you own a business, in most cases there is nothing in the law that says you have to act aspolice, enforcing the laws. Yes, if the law concerns number of people allowed in your establishment, you will probably be required to enforce that (though I advise you to break the law, since it isunConstitutional.

It is also now past the authority invested in state governors, since the executive canonly pass emergency measures for 30 days. After that, the laws require action by the legislature or bythe Feds). However, if the law is requiring face masks in public, it is not your job to enforce that.

Noone is paying you extra to enforce extra laws, and you do not work in law enforcement. Someprominent local businesses here are choosing to pushback on this. They are refusing to hire security topolice the front doors of their establishments, regarding face masks. This is the first meaningfulpushback I have seen from local businesses, so even if you don't see yourself as a frontlinerevolutionary, it may be something you can see yourself doing. And finally, if you do get arrested, remember that most state governors have passed their authority toorder these things, so these “laws” have no legal standing. This is mainly a bluff, since no statelegislatures that I know have actually passed laws on this, or anything else to do with corona. If youend up in court, not only will you win, but if you have a good attorney you can win some real moneyfor harassment, illegal arrest, mental distress, pain and suffering, and malice. But my guess is it willnever come to that, unless you really want it to. In all the arrests I have studied nationwide (the realones), charges have either never been pressed by the state, or they have been dropped within 24 hours.

Fuck the courts. No judge has the right to decide if the Bill of Rights stands and it only stands if we make it so.

Does anyone understand what I said in that second paragraph of my OP and what it means?
