40-year-old Man Asked 6th Grade Girl "This Sounds Bad But Would You Ever Consider Me?"

A Cantonment man is accused of possessing over 400 pictures of child pornography, according to the Escambia County Sheriff's Office.

Christopher McElveen, 40, faces 20 counts of possessing child pornography. He's in Escambia County jail on $200,000 bond.

A report states that deputies found McElveen to have at least 443 pictures of children -- including two infants -- engaged in various sexual activities.

According to the report, on March 23, McElveen messaged an undercover investigator through social media. The bio of the undercover investigator depicted a sixth-grade girl.

The report states McElveen messaged the profile saying, "This sounds bad but would you ever consider me?"

McElveen said he would consider a girl of any age, according to the report. When told the girl was age 11, he said "That's ok."

The report states he then asked if the girl ever had sex and if she would be his girlfriend. He said, "11 is cool. I would prefer younger, but its all good." McElveen also requested nude photographs.
