Grocery Store Stock Very Low & Expensive

In Chicago Suburbs. Went to Grocery Store that always has great selection. All very expensive now. Three times I have been there in last two weeks. They continue to move stock forward on shelves. The deli area has very little selection. Freezers have a variety yet very little in each area. Rice sold out. There was plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables. Very expensive. With such high prices and shortages there must be something more go on with supply chain. This is not making the news. If I don't see a major restock soon I think more people need to worry. BTW the store was busy and very little people keeping a distance. I also notice when shopping the cashiers and staff are younger- older staff choosing not to work because of this virus or being replaced? Very few people out over 60. They are staying at home or going shopping when they have special hours. Went by Costco- it was packed and I did not go in. They also have been running low. This is weird. Came home to lots of rain. A lot going on at once.
