Even those whom I haven't responded personally to...thanks for the input and my download list is growing longer.

Can't thank you enough....I remember almost everything but for some reason my brain has been fucking with me on this topic and I value immediate input over polled googled lists.

Can't go wrong with Jetsons and Flintstones.

H.R. Pufnstuf is rather famous for the 60's psychedelic twist, coupled with songs and professional singers, Jack Wild and 'Mama' Cass Elliott.

Ren and Stimpy was good fun, maybe for the older ones...

I studied with a girl that interned at that studio for a bit.

If you have little girls, Jem and the Holograms was the best! Bonus, as a parent, you can get all the songs stuck in your head. chuckle

Been trying to think of all the stuff I used to watch ages ago...tired of watching the 127th repeat of DVR'ed 'Paw Patrol' or 'Daniel Tiger'.

So far, I've got my 3 little kiddos mesmerized by...:

Dastardly and Muttley and their Flying Machines (Stop That Pigeon)

Captain Caveman and the Teen Angels

Transformers (original)

M.A.S.K.

Wacky Races

Jabberjaw

The Great Grape Ape Show

(not a cartoon) The Three Stooges

Robotech (1985)

Season 1 Episode 1 "Boobytrap"

[link to www.bitchute.com (secure)]

Seems it's also on Youtube.

I don't know how well this will stand up today. I saw it last probably in the 1980's. Should be ok still. It's a continuing story. Used to be on Saturday mornings with all the other cartoons.

Re: Getting My Kids Hooked on Old Cartoons/Shows, any Suggestions?
I invented "Way Back Wednesdays" which meant that we prepared a meal from our generation and watched a tv show or movie from that generation.

I used index cards to list different shows and movies and recipes and we'd pick one each week.

They really loved it and it was nice feeling nostalgic.

Chitlins, polk salad and Three's Company?
 Quoting: Dace

My cousins' parents would not let them watch Three's Company. Our parents didn't censor tv. It is a TOTALLY different show as an adult. ;-0
Any people anywhere, being inclined and having the power, have the right to rise up, and shake off the existing government, and form a new one that suits them better. This is a most valuable - a most sacred right - a right, which we hope and believe, is to liberate the world. -- Abraham Lincoln

The only way to deal with an unfree world is to become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion. -- Albert Camus
