I posted this in one of the other threads, I'll put it here also. Quoting: DMJ I worked inside of Dow Chemical for many years, hanging iron. They can never be ready for a flood, no way no how. There's this little river that doesn't leave the plant. We called it rainbow creek, the colors in that creek, there's no names for. Colors you've never seen before. It's all waste from shit they make there. That and the ground is so contaminated you can only dig 2 feet, then they stop you, have the ground sniffed and tell you if you can dig more. Fuck Dow Chemical. I've seen things in there that would make you stop eating at fast food joints. Never get the milkshakes, never. Nice to see a brother iron ape posting here. Heads up ! |

Western North Carolina looking at 5 inches of rain today (Boone area). Watch out for mudslides tonight Blue Ridgers - some of these can travel up to 60 mph and move trees and boulders. Some areas in North Carolina have seen 4 to 6 inches of rain over the last 24 hours and can see the same over the next 24 hours as the rain patterns are not moving much at all. |

Now this fucker is shooting sonic cannons at damns! After the election, my wife and I sold our wedding and engagement rings to buy guns and gun training courses. We won't let them take our ethnic neighbors some day. We all need to train ourselves to protect our democracy before it's too late. It sucks that I wake up crying every day now because this is our world. I wasn't meant to be a soldier I was a cheese maker. I made fucking cheese. But now I'm a soldier thrown into some Hitler remake god it's awful. And now I have to look out for fucking sonic cannons! |

The power plant near Midland is not nuclear. There is one nuclear plant downriver near Monroe and three others on the west side of the state. It is a conventional fossil fuel power plant, I believe. I'm sure it is safe, though some might be without power if it is affected by the flooding. The DOW chemical plant is more concerning, imo. |
