Also you're not going to be able to see one of these rogue planet ultra cool brown dwarfs with an optical telescope! they are far too dim. Listen to the video! you need an infra red telescope to see them. You do need one at a certain distance (far). It’s also encased in a debris field of iron oxide too. As our object is very near IR scopes aren’t needed NOW. Plus we are viewing this in the day. Different game. How many astronomers are out with scopes in the day?! At sun rise and sun set, red in the spectrum is more available through our atmosphere, and to the naked eye. There’s a small window of time of 45 mins where the actual planet can be seen. Other than that you’ll be viewing the debris formation as noted. |
