I was delivering for uber eats right after the stimulus landed so restaurants were hammered. It took me an hour to get this blond, middle aged womans sushi, which cost me money that I could've made doing other deliveries, but she bitched me out anyway for taking so long.

To make it a perfect storm, there was something missing from her order. She came out to tell me before I left and demanded I go back and get a refund and have her order completed correctly. All I could say is sometimes these things happen and that I needed to make other deliveries. I couldn't inspect the order before delivering it because if was staple sealed.

She gave me a negative rating.


...like, it's a fucking pandemic quarantine and the sushi place had 20 delivery drivers outside waiting for their orders. Cut us a break Karen.
