I had no trouble understanding the OP, it was all very clearly stated.

Obviously the deaths attributed to CV in the US are inflated. What's interesting is even with the inflated numbers there's no justification for these lockdowns.

It's also worth noting, no general population in the US was ever put on a serious lockdown. Everybody going to the same stores, no serious effort made at the stores to prevent the spread of an infectious disease... that's not a meaningful lockdown.

The way so many stores were closed, forcing everyone into the same few remaining outlets, is exactly what not to do to prevent the spread of infectious disease.

The US efforts probably had a slight reduction on the spread but the truth of the matter is SARS CoV-2 just wasn't nearly as dangerous as advertised.
