Do you guys see the problem/solution thing going on here that will help people accept a global govt? Governors of states, bad. Leader of America, good. Let's get rid of authority within each state so the authority resides with the president and not the states.Just a thought. Sure. Alan Dershowitz made a similar argument in the Senate in January. He basically said POTUS has the Executive right to expand his powers (seemingly to no end) if he asserts/claims a national security issue.
