Chicken is normal. Beef is high.

Everything well stocked. Prices are crazy. Whole briskets were 1.79 lb now 6.49 lb. Ground chuck is 5.99 lb. Chicken legs 1.99 lb. Pork rib on sale, two per cryopak .99 lb, pork butts 1.99 lb. 10 lb. bags of chicken quarters on sale .38 lb. not such a great deal as these bags contain parts from big old stringy birds probably layers past their prime. Lots of bacon, sausage, hotdogs and lunch meat. Some brands of sliced ham lunch meats in short supply or not available.

Just walked over to the window and looked out into the pasture . there is still about one hundred and twenty ton of beef out there face down eating grass .

Yes, can only access base with military ID, then must present again at the commissary. Typically, they have decent prices on meat, but not this time.... Not sure about active duty members, as we are retired military, but I can tell you that all the vets we know stocked up on everything ahead of time. But living in south Louisiana, we stock up on pantry goods, to and water every hurricane season. We just did it early this year and added more meat to the mix.

Go directly to the farmers... esp pork... they are having to kill the animals b/c the animals will be too big, and dangerous to take to the slaughter houses when they are able to open back up.

You can arrange to have your animal to be delivered to a local mom, and pop butcher... who can process it for you.

Split the cost with neighbors, and/or friends if you don't have enough freezer space, or enough $$ for the whole animal.

Sometimes you can have the animal processed at a cheaper rate if you give a portion of the meat in place of some of the money... and they can then sell the meat that you gave them to still be profitable for them.

Haven't seen the price rise but there has been no ground beef in wal mart for weeks now. Plenty of chicken now but there was a point about 1 month ago where there was no chicken and only beef.

Western Ma here. Stores have been limiting meat purchases to 2 - 2 chicken, 2 beef. This has been going on for three weeks now. One store was out of hamburg and another was out of chicken.

Meat hasn't been on sale either.

Went for take out at our favorite Chinese Rest and could only order smalls. The owner said she is having trouble getting beef and pork. She orders four cases of beef and gets three.

I did wonder what would happen when all the restaurants got up and running - now I know.

Ordered a quarter beef that will be ready in 5 weeks.

Plenty of venison in the freezer, plenty of eggs in the chicken coop. Neighbor has raw goat milk. Was a little frustrated about flour, but honestly been having issues with that since Christmas time. ( Usually get 20# KAF at Walmart and they've been out forever) but I do have grain and a mill if needed...and another neighbor who grows organic grain for a major supplier and will sell me a bag of wheat cheap.
No real change in our local supplies.

Supply is fine, seems like a 15-20% price creep.

Southern New Mexico here, Sam's club had organic 85% ground beef for $4.98/lb in 3 lb packages (no price change). Plenty of chicken and beef cuts at regular prices. Short on pork.

TV's completely sold out.

Walmart had organic 85% Ground beef for $5.78/lb (no price change). I do the pickup so not familiar with other meat prices. All of the things I order are normally in stock.
