Australians have been pissed off with the chinese for years, investors from there pushing the price of homes up in our capital cities beyond the reach of everyday Aussies, they are sick of our government allowing our infrastructure, food companies and farming land to be bought up by chinese investors, sick of poor quality building materials being imported and used for construction. Hell chinese investors even bought up water rights for the Murray/Darling water catchment areas where some of our biggest farms are.

We are sick of seeing entire suburbs being bought up where you'll hardly even see an Australian. Sick of diagou shoppers emptying our supermarket shelves of essential items, sick of seeing our top produce being exported to there while we get second rate stuff and import produce easily grown here.

Sick of seeing our natural resources plundered by the few at no real benefit to average Aussies. Sick of seeing industrial sized fishing ships plunder our waters. Sick of seeing china expand it's military bases and building islands to militarise. Sick of seeing china give huge loans to countries that could never pay back the money and then china take away their infrastructure and erode their soveriegnty.

Then the WuFlu came along and while china stopped local travel from Wuhan they allowed their people to infect the world, that was the last straw. Really all we did was ask for an enquiry and china had a big tantrum and here we are today.Aussies have had enough and we'd rather do without china's money than prostitute ourselves and be their bitch forever.

China basically told us to pick a side, we chose the USA who have always been our allies. Australians value freedom over anything, I guess the chinese don't understand that.
