Remember, there were people in and going to the morgues BEFORE the first plane struck.

Bellevue Hospital had 14 refrigerated trailers around the hospital. They would not even let you inside the door to make inquiries.

Those that did survive had diagnoses such as lacerations, debris embedded in eyes, heart attacks, fractures, smoke inhalation etc.

Beekman-Downtown Hospital / New York Presbyterian Lower was nuts, but no capacity issues.
