I doubt either one of those states has a Republican legislature and supreme court like Wisconsin did to challenge these lock-downs at the state level, so the next step I guess will be to pressure some of these governors from the federal level.

Kind of surprised Michigan wasn't included in this.

Thing is Trump could end all this if he wanted to.
The 10th amendment does give states the right to call their own shots so as long as they don't violate the US Constitution. States do not have the right though to violate the construction. And if a state violates the US Constitution the president has the right to force them to follow the constitution and void any unconstitutionally laws.

Here's the 10th amendment

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

And these lockdowns and restrictions violate our 1st and 14th amendments and contact tracers violate our 4th and 5th amendments. Of course Trump won't do anything about it because he's just as much a NWO puppet as Obama and Biden.

But why isn’t the DOJ suing these democrat states for infringing on citizen’s 2nd Amendment right to not be red flagged by jaded ex-wives and feminazi neighbors?

That'll be interesting...the same dem governors who locked down America, will soon be on
travel lockdown themselves when conspiracy and treason charges come. The only way out of the US will be on a slow raft heading to Cuba. This might get fun afger all!

It is true Trump could take some action, but only after a court declares the shut down unconstitutional. However, because of the national emergency he might have more power over the states now. He did say he could make the decisions and the democrat governors went nuts so he played along. I think he is allowing them
to destroy themselves. People are seeing the states with the biggest tyrants are democratic states.

Then cackles, "let them eat cake."

What really pisses me off about liberals like him is that their Gestapo-type tactics towards SARS-CoV-2 are set against the backdrop of their la-de-dah Sanctuary City laws and permissiveness about a whole host of outright serious felonies or misery-inducing, even life-threatening, quality-of-life crimes.

Liberalism really fucks up both the hearts and minds of humans.

The fbi investigates and prosecutes cops or officials that violate civil rights of people. They could actually walk into the governor's office and arrest them for violating basic constitutional rights. The law broken is federal law 18-242. If they don't open up soon the president could give the approval to the FBI to step In. We all know those governor's are wrong and violating constitutional rights.

If this virus is real, then I believe the elderly and the unhealthy / weak should stay home on lockdown. But not everyone else. The shutdown should not have happened. Only education of the masses on how to avoid catching the virus should have happened. Then no businesses would have had to close.

And we got the shutdown with not enough education of the masses. It was just very poorly handled and it's time to stop the shutdown. It's just dumb and detrimental.

And now we're stuck with millions unemployed, huge numbers of small businesses destroyed....all because of mismanagement of this damn pandemic.

"The Department of Justice does not seek to dictate how cities and counties such as Los Angeles determine what degree of activity and personal interaction should be allowed to protect the safety of their citizens," Dreiband said in the letter to Los Angeles officials. "However, we are charged with protecting the federal statutory and constitutional rights of all persons in our country, and ensuring that governmental restrictions are not unconstitutionally burdensome. ... Simply put, there is no pandemic exception to the U.S. Constitution and its Bill of Rights." - Barr
"Accept now that all you have seen from the day of your birth on the surface of the earth, to the present, are wonderful only because the finite mind of man is confused with fragments of evidence, that, from whatever direction we meet them, spring from an unreachable infinity."

"There was a man who could create what could not be imagined. A temple so great you questioned if it was built with human hands. A man who built an idea into the greatest force the world has ever known. A world built from a single word. I care not for the folly of man but for the end of human contention."

Yes, it does look like many Democrats see the destruction of this shutdown / lockdown to be a wave to ride in order to win the election.

What a shame to involve politics when we need to involve science only in order to solve a pandemic crisis. We don't have time for political games that inhibit solving a pandemic crisis.
