Quoting: Anonymous Coward 70930157 can the vegans explain this? What birds don't eat meat? The only one I can think of that doesn't eat meat is the hummingbird. And for meat eaters I assume you are thinking about birds of prey and scavengers, but the biggest group of birds forage for food on the ground and they eat whatever they can find. For example my chickens. You are probably not thinking that they are meat eaters but they are. Not only will they eat the grass, seeds, vegetables that I throw them but if they see a lizard or small snake and hell even baby birds they will eat them. And in my opinion most birds are like this. Also I believe that insects would be considered a meat source also and most birds will eat them any chance they can get. |
