Anonymous Coward User ID: 78783713 United States 05/23/2020 05:19 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I know, right! Decades ago I worked at a Burger King, teenage summer job. One day they had ZERO patties. None of either weight. But we had to work. All we did was answer the same questions all day long only to have every customer bitch me out. It wasn't our fault, we wanted to go home, lol. Some people laughed and drove off. Others had a mental meltdown. Shit was funny at times. When you're craving a Double Whopper with cheese and heavy mayo after not eating all day, you might get a bit bitchy. Yeah, realizing the world doesn’t revolve around you is a tough pill to swallow. |

Meijer is pretty full, although chicken is defintely lacking. Luckily I have two freezers full of meat so it's not too worrisome. Still can't find yeast but I still have 1-1/2 lbs. Most stores though are limiting meat so you just have to shop more. Honestly though I haven't used any ordering services, I don't need to pay someone to do my shopping for me plus I've seen those shoppers in the store and I wouldn't trust them to buy anything for me. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 44502948 What the hell with the yeast? People stress baking |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 76320280 So many items which we tried to purchase were unavailable that we had to cancel the orders, except for Aldis. At Heinens we ordered 15 items and the only thing in stock was a package of Thomas' English Muffins. Everything else was sold out. The shopper said the store was practically bare. Milk and eggs are consistently sold out everywhere. I don't think it's because of the holiday. Milk and eggs are not party food and many people are still quarantining. There just seems to be a shortage of food here. Is anyone else experiencing this? Oh snap, looks like it’s starting to get serious. |

She has to have someone go with her to the store so they can go into the store for her and do the shopping. She lives in a small town like bum fuck, usa. She can't really go anywhere cuz if she gets sicks she knows she's as good as dead. |

I did pickup for a while and had the same exact issues -- lots of missing items, lots of rationing, lots of replacements. Went into the store and the shelves were all full (meat was a bit low, but there was still plenty of it) and the limits were a lot higher. Was able to get more than one dozen eggs for the first time in months. Something is deeply wrong with the pickup/delivery system, not with the food supply. |

Basically as long as they keep their employees working the loan is forgiven. So it's basically a welfare check to stay open and keep the employees paid and working. Isn’t that better than the employees each collecting thousands and thousands of dollars a month to sit at home and wank and play video games all day? Actually they get paid more to stay home. KFC isn't paying $15 an hour. With state benefits, it's about $600 a week minimum to stay home. Pretty nice. I'm taking that cash as a self-employed person, because my business really is affected by not only the shutdowns but the new rules. It may not truly recover until next year. I don't care, pay me. Plenty of time to jerk off now. |
