I was young and full of piss at the time. It was a Yankee State and not many had guns, especially the poor losers I rented to. Said goon would always knock and be polite, no reason to shoot him. I think he would tell them he was working on changing the lock for them, giving an upgrade. He would have the door off and be leaving before they knew what was happening, Doesn’t take long to remove a door. Also helped that in my mid size town many knew him. Tenants were not willing to start mouthing off at him. I paid him $100 which was cheaper than eviction court fees. The moral? Pay your rent or GTFO. Very simple. |
