Venus in Taurus' Horns

I dont know if there is any connection to this song. The video shows mercury, which is also in the horns at the moment.

I wonder if the girl is meant to represent Hathor.

Hathor is an ancient Egyptian goddess associated, later, with Isis and, earlier, with Sekhmet but eventually was considered the primeval goddess from whom all others were derived. She is usually depicted as a woman with the head of a cow, ears of a cow, or simply in cow form.

Her role as a sky goddess was also linked to the afterlife. Because the sky goddess—either Nut or Hathor—assisted Ra in his daily rebirth, she had an important part in Egyptian afterlife beliefs, according to which deceased humans were reborn like the sun god.

The song writer's own thoughts on the meaning of the song:

"A feeling of not being connected to each other, but we are, and it's a feeling of the mind evolving from the body, but when that happens you just get this yearn to do something physical and feel something sensational, physical-ness-ness".

"It's about a semi-fear of the evolution of technology, and how in reality it's destroying all humanity. My fear is that we can't control it because it's moving faster than we are, so the songs setting myself in a location in the future where the body is no longer important and everyone's plugged into a network. The opening line is 'link it to the world', so it's connecting yourself on a worldwide scale and being born into another reality, in a way it's on the same lines as the film The Matrix, but we weren't intending on copying their idea on technology and how it has evolved."


The ascending node glyph is a persistent image on the girl's forehead, before the appearance of Mercury, and the songwriter has a Mercury-Sun conjunction in Gemini, and ascending node in Libra.

I think the girl is meant to represent the segment of society the author no longer feels able to relate to on account of the detriment brought by technology.

Thank you for this explanation. Looking at the current image of Taurus, there is a lot of activity in there right now. Venus, Mercury, the Sun and comet Atlas joining the show too. It may not be connected to the song or Hathor but I couldnt help seeing some similarities. Here's a screenshot of how it looks as of now in Stellarium:

I don't know if Stellarium has an option to show it or not, but the ascending node of the moon is there in the lot of activity as well.

The moon conjoins it, and crosses the ecliptic at 21:33 UTC this evening.

Aldebaran is one of the four watchers, too, arguably a part of the show.
