I can see a path where they could be sued for medical misrepresentation leading to physical harm.

All it would take is someone claiming they misdiagnosed or made a medical decision as a result of them using the represented presentation (the old Ukraine photos) of the "mystery illness" appearance as representative of the actual symptoms.

If this resulted in harm to either the child or other people then CBS could be sued for damages as a result of their reckless misrepresentation of the symptoms of a medical condition.
