Many red states are climbing. Time will be unkind to dumb. I'm not against the initial lock-down, but the tyrant governors are taking this way too far. We were supposed to "flatten the curve" not destroy the entire economy - and continuing to do so is purely political. The reason for flattening the curve was that hospitals were not initially prepared for a full on assault of this virus. We needed time to get the much needed supplies to medical facilities. No one was saying that the spread of this disease would be stopped - just slow it down. We have done that. In fact, we crushed it! Hospitals have all the supplies, and now we have viable treatments - and hospitals are empty. Many more will get this disease. It was expected from the beginning. But now we are prepared to respond. It's time to open up. |

They roughly knew who the at risk people were. Why didn’t they just sequester the much smaller group of at risk people instead of locking everyone up? Do you guys think the decisions to do these lockdowns etc were made based on faulty info coming out of China, disinformation? you don't find it a bid odd that the U.S. numbers of deaths are at least 3 times higher than anywhere else in the world? does that not beg to question that just MAYBE all those deaths aren't from the virus, but just being labeled as such? Russia has 350,000 confirmed and only 3600 deaths. You trust Russia #'s. Oh geezs. |
