This is true and very sad. Young men gave their lives for evil people. It didn’t do any good. Hopefully some will learn from this and stay far away from the war machine that are little more than satanic sacrifices.

Yup. It is a sad day. Only thing to remember are these governments do not have our best interests at heart.

I am going to be honest, if anyone can watch this video and not shed a tear, then that person is void of any humanity. They are an empty shell.

Once many years ago just before Memorial Day, I was asked to clean up the yard of an old widowed woman's house. It once had flowers and gardens, hedges, shrubs and bushes. all had run amuck, the place was so over-grown one could barely even see the house. it was like someone had left and abandoned he place.

I worked and mowed, cut and trimmed. As I trimmed away the vines covering the front window I noticed two faded cardboard stars. One was Blue and the other Gold. I was asked inside for a glass of cold lemon aid.

In the living room was a picture of a sailor in an old uniform and on the couch sat an embroidered pillow. The pillow was sewn to be a battleship in all its glory. Every detail was rendered and clear was the name on the ship. The Indianapolis.

Today is a good day to remember those lost, those faded stars in the windows of those left behind, those who gave all for our freedom.

You should see the body count of the Roman Empire.

Far more than killed in WW1 and WW2, if adjusted for population size then.

No "Rosthchilds" or other excuses then.

From what I have read about history, it seems that the same original 13 bloodlines operated in this same manner throughout mans history. It all goes back to the Cain and Able story . Those who are never satisfied with their lot in life and are willing to do anything to snatch every morsel from their BROTHERS grasp.

Its one of the symptoms of evolutionary failure.

Ya such a happy joyful holiday for military personal killed in action, their brothers in arms, and their family members loss

Today, in my part of Pennsylvania, we are still a "red county," meaning, nothing but essential businesses, no unnecessary travel and no congregating in any groups.

Every year, we have a small parade It consists of VFW, AL, Vietnam Vets, the High School band, Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts along with the towns fire apparatus, an old Army jeep, and a police vehicle. The parade ends at a small plot of land which is called The Soldiers and Sailors Memorial where the time honored tradition of honoring those who gave the ultimate sacrifice takes place.

We knew there would be no parade, the town had posted a sign on that little plot of land that the area was closed due to the Pandemic.

That is what the state and town told us. There would be no remembering our fallen on this Memorial Day.

The ceremony usually starts at 11 AM and I thought, what the hell, if nothing else I will go there lay a few flowers at the small monument along with a flag, and say a prayer for those who never returned.

I drove my car to the corner of that little park and was surprised to see about 30 others standing around. Many were veterans with their wives and few younger couples.

I met with a few of my fellow vets as we talked about the VA, who had passed this year and the virus. I learned a small group was going to ride through town waving the flag and honking horns and would end up at the Memorial around noon.

At noon, the small parade (about 10 cars and an old Army 10 ton truck) pulled up. The parade participants joined us and having accumulated a few more folks we now numbered about 70.

A lady introduced herself as a former officer who served in Afghanistan. She then stood and said, "Today we honor our fallen and we will do our best. With that a young man who played the trumpet started playing "Amazing Grace."

A gentleman rose and asked us to uncover and we prayed. Then anyone who wished could come forward to say who they were remembering. A few were remembering their close relative who had given there life. A couple of us, remembered those we served with who never came home.

A recording of "God Bless the USA." was played while many of us spontaneously came into a formation and saluted. Then the closing prayer was said and the young man with the trumpet played taps.

During this whole unauthorized gathering the police drove by numerous times, in fact, the little Memorial park is right across from the county sheriff's office and jail. No one bothered us.........I think they knew better.

It was the most moving Memorial Day I have ever experienced.

Just as a side note, most everyone wore a mask. They were even giving away masks for anyone who wanted one.
