N-95 masks are made for different uses

Dust mask for shop workers and medical masks for the medical workers

If you get a medical N-95 then it will protect you

If you're uncomfortable with the level of protection afforded by an N95, you can always step up to an N99 or P100 which would give you even higher efficiency rates. At that point just keep up with your antivirals and you'll be fine, viral load is a thing.
