Once we're able to put humans in suspended state/hibernation, we're sort of able to timetravel..

Imagine going to sleep and waking up 100 years later, feeling like you only had a short power nap.

Can't be done, it was a fail.

You know in 100 years from now, human dna will have been adjusted to the novel viruses, environmental attributes and everything that changes and defines who we are.

So no reason to call it fake as from the future, it can be called fake from the future which is now.

Re: Time Travel is Impossible Because Solar System Moves in Milky Way
Nowadays people are dumber than ever.

Time travel? Where is time? Where is past time? Where is future time? What is time?

Time travel, space travel, place travel, mass travel, color travel, temperature travel, quantum travel, dimension travel, which one is reality and has a meaning?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78317464

time is a word, made by humans, there is no time therefore, it's for convenience only.

past time is passed already.

future time is everytime.

nothing has a meaning for us that we speak about time.

Reality is what you translate inside your mind as real, mostly all people follow the same translation so it's reality as they see it, there is no reality.

Time is only a measure of velocity. Time as commonly thought of could be handled through dimensional space. For Time travel to exist, Time at all points must exist simultaneously which would mean all time would be represented as a single point. It would literally mean removing time as a dimension completely. I like your thoughts OP.

My 2 cents.

You time travel every day.

Where your thoughts are.... you are.

We feel the emotions of BEING THERE.

That is what we do HERE HERE... feel emotions...

ALL LIFE experiences create an EMOTION that records as wisdom gained. Good / Bad / Ugly

so where your THOUGHTS are you are FEELING EMOTIONS
you are living and experiencing and recording that as experiences.

Re: Time Travel is Impossible Because Solar System Moves in Milky Way
For time travel to work, the Earth would have to be in some past or future "position" that it already was or will someday be.

Earth's position within the Milky Way is dependent on the sun's movement through the Milky Way.

The sun is rotating around the core of the Milky Way within one of its spirals.

As the sun moves, everything in the solar system moves with it.

Consequently, the Earth's movement within the Milky Way looks like a cork screw.

Bottom line: There's not a fvcking chance in hell that you can move EVERYTHING in the known universe either forward or backward to where they were or where they'll be, and that reality makes time travel impossible.

How the Earth Moves

Rick and Morty (S04E08 - from last week) actually takes a jaundiced look at time travel in this episode. And, it's fucking funny!

Please note: I am not talking about alternate universes or other dimensions. This rant was strictly about time travel.

wtfdidstupid we are pellets ejected from a barrel and the speed is relatively to that big band that created that light still traveling. The thing is if we are still going up and about to touch the ceiling or coming down and about to hit the floor. Time travel is more than possible. We are past. Enjoy and take just the right hand decision and so avoid the split paradigm of duality.

Space and Time are connected. IF you could time travel, you would also space travel. Your point is invalid for that reason.

Not saying time travel is possible, but that the reason is not as you have described.

Re: Time Travel is Impossible Because Solar System Moves in Milky Way
I refute the Opies claim. From our perspective it seems impossible.. But space-time is a fabric and has dimensions not exceed 4. Thus approaching the whole thing from a higher dimensional plane you would see space-time as a form maybe it looks like a tree or a root system, but from that perspective you can see the past and the future timelines and possibly infinite timelines or quantum parallel universes, and you could pick a location and enter into that space-time at a point in the past or present..

So yea time-travel from our perspective not possible. Time travel making use of higher dimensions = very likely.

Maybe just maybe you can drop out of 4D space-time and into hyperspace which is a separate dimension or maybe a 5 dimensional space, and from that point maybe you can get back to earth at another point in time using quantum entanglement and or quantum superposition and wave particle duality along with the uncertainty principle.

I mean i could time travel right now with my consciousness. Remote viewing is real. Scientific remote viewing of the past or the future is real. ITS REAL. REMOTE VIEWING IS A REAL THING THAT REAL PEOPLE TRAIN AT FOR YEARS. REMOTE VIEWERS ARE REAL. ITS A REAL THING. IT WORKS ITS REAL.

I could remote view a place in 1950 right now if i wanted and travel there with my conscious perception. Remote viewing actually works and is a real thing that the CIA trained people at and funded for a decade or more.

Interesting.

I think it's really cute that an intelligent human being, such as yourself thinks we've been outside of our ant colony enclosure.

That's the spirit, scrunch up your face like you're an interstellar explorer, braving danger, and that half human Borg with the really big chest (she's MY favorite) and we'll all overlook your intellectual excesses flying around in your wooden banana crate with the lightning bolt painted on it's side.

:)

PS. You shoulda been paying attention during Math. ;)

The only way time travel would be feasible is with some type of engine that is FTL and can drive you from point a to b faster than the movement of our both the milkyway and solar systems movement. And you would also need to factor in the time difference it would take to get from A to Z and be ahead of the time event. Chances of that happening impossible today but theoretical in the future.

Re: Time Travel is Impossible Because Solar System Moves in Milky Way
Time and space were created by God who exists outside of it. Imagine our time and space confined to a shoebox that God can hold in His hands.

He's not the only one outside of time and space, either. The angels have access in and out of time and space. This is one of the reasons God seals up portions of history in the Book of Seals so that angelic beings cannot know too far into the future as to what is going to happen on the earth. Only Jesus can break those seals.

Time travel is very possible. It's one of the many inventions the U.S. government immediately classified and suppressed after Nikola Tesla's death. A very important part of the war that's currently raging between good and evil is a time war, no doubt about it.

You may as well argue that time travel is impossible because a baseball flew across a field. Everything is in a constant state of motion, not just the solar system...

Time travel is not about resetting the universe. (If anything) it's about moving to a place that lies outside of time and then reentering the observable universe at a chosen point.

if there was some sort of energetic tracer like the lay lines of the earth then programming into the locating beacon of said time travel machines a location paralell to those exact co-ordinates and sending something that has the ability to relay information through time, before its gone into phase you could easily track the safety and location of where you'd want to go before you got there.
