Anonymous Coward User ID: 28658290 United States 05/26/2020 07:39 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | If the power grid goes.....we won't have running water or sewage either. Quoting: Blue State Rebel It's not just the lights or fridge. I had that problem when the electricity went down in the winter blizzard last year... well we had running water... we are on natural gravity flow of water.. and sewage is gravity flow here too. But I had no heat.. luckily I have a gas stove and kept pots of steaming water on it.. and since I have an open living ares.. that stayed around 50F at its worse which is actually tolerable. I will never live in a house with JUST electricity.. I would have been up jack shit then for a bit. Gas stove allowed cooking and heat. I had well planned on how to have light.. my plans on that worked well.. but I did discover too MANY candles too close to the smoke detector was a minor issue to learn from... as mine are battery operated for back up. I didn't loose any food.. covered my small chest freezer and refrigerated food went outside in a cooler.. it was a blizzard after all. |

Hot weather blackouts have long plagued neighborhoods and towns from New York to California to Texas. But now experts are warning that millions of Americans who are working from home or are unemployed—cranking their air conditioners as the temperature rises on sunny days—will only strain transmission lines and transformers further.... Even if mass blackouts don’t strike this year, experts predicted the novel coronavirus will have long-term ramifications for the nation’s power grid. [link to www.thedailybeast.com (secure)] Between this and the government warning that China may take out our power grid... [link to www.godlikeproductions.com] ...it looks like they are preparing us for something sinister. liberals are turning this place into a third world shit hole. It is a shithole already and liberals are not in government. |

So it evens out. This is more leftist fuckery. They want the Karen's of the world to start policing everyone's use of electricity. Karen's summer of Covid-1984 will be one huge power trip. |

HVAC in homes accounts for 9.7 percent. How is a 9.7 percent sector going to surpass industry and business, which accounts for 73 percent? The Daily Beast is a freaking LIE. |

Power issues happen in the summer in cities all the time.. So of course with everyone home cranking their A/C there is a far larger chance blackouts could happen.. Quoting: Zer0pi3.14 When you have cities full of people with no power and no money cause the have no jobs.. some shit should start kicking off then.. This. "Peace in our time?
