Absentee vs mail in voting:

So, my Wife and I voted by absentee vote in Wisconsin recently - twice.

To do so, we had to photograph our State ID's and email them to our Voting place (Township).

Only then were the absentee ballots sent to us.

THe second time - (special Election for Congressman) - I dropped the ballots off at the Polling Place on Election day.

Oddly enough, I was met by the Voter screener (for the Covid-19) outside the building, and she told me (by my first name) to just place the absentee ballots under her keys on the entrance table...

ABSENTEE VOTING IS NOT NOT NOT MAIL IN VOTING!
