Anonymous Coward User ID: 74836369 United States 05/27/2020 09:49 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Giving the few items I ordered 2 weeks ago a few more days. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77267803 If the next order or two are late I'm canceling. If you really wanna show amazon, wait till the order has shown as shipped. Likely it will work it's way all the way though the delivery chain till the local delivery person goes to deliver the package and it comes up as a canceled package and they just hang on to it for return. |

Ir if the driver mistakenly delivers it anyways, you'll probably get the item for free if it's a relatively cheap item that amazon doesn't want to deal with the shipping costs to return it |

Sincerely, your underappreciated overworked mail carrier You most likely don't work in the delivery/mail industry and are just stiring shit. But if you do, that "asshole" is helping keep you a job. Though if you're USPS you're probably not delivering them 4-5 packages every 2 days because probably like 95% of the shit I order of amazon is delivered by amazon themselves or a subcontractor. It's maybe once every 2 or 3 months that an amazon package comes though USPS/FedEx/UPS. Every one of my Amazon packages are delivered through the USPS. My roomate as well. ALL delivered by Post Office |

I've ordered stuff here in central florida and had a few items on my door step 6 hours later. Most stuff is next day though. If you're in the boonies or no near by warehouse, then its probably shipping from a farther away warehouse through traditional delivery methods. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 76317450 I can't imagine car brakes being something they stock at every regional warehouse, theres far too many varieties and they're bulky items. They probably have a hand full of warehouses around the country for items like that. Gotta think of the local amazon warehouses like walmart. If it's something you'd typically find in a walmart it is probably available at every regional warehouse. The auto shops at walmarts probably don't even stock that kind of stuff, they probably do it like just about every other auto shop out there and make a call to NAPA or some other regional parts distributor and get the part needed delivered in half an hour to an hour. |

User ID: 75733009 United States 05/27/2020 10:54 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | 98% of everything on time and great! Still get that occasional single bottle of oregano or something in a 12 x 12 box filled with stuffing. And before you go insane and start yelling how lazy/selfish/etc. we are, I live about 35 min from any store so yes it makes sense to order a bunch of stuff on amazon pantry. I just wish they would not waste packaging and be more mindful of packing a bunch of the stuff together. Once in a while it goes rogue for some reason. But very satisfied with timeliness & delivery overall. Last Edited by LaGata on 05/27/2020 10:55 PM ~~*NOT* a very nice kitty!~~ "Plan for the worst, hope for the best, and don't live in fear." |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 77869560 United States 05/27/2020 11:15 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I have been a prime member of amazon for years. Just for the free shipping and two day delivery. The videos are a bonus but I do watch some of them. Quoting: uhftx Like everywhere else. Everything is delayed. What is your experience in shipping delays? The worst one which I ordered on the On the 1st of April will not arrive till June 11th. Guess what it was Toilet paper. But not normal size rolls these are 9inch rolls. I kid you not. We use them at the Legion Post. And I needed to reorder. Two day delivery has gone by the wind. A week is bare minimum these days. I realize these are terrible times and we all have to suffer and deal with circumstances. But I paid for 2 day delivery with Prime. What are your experiences? No delays that I've noticed in the last few weeks--prior to that everything was delayed because of how they were prioritizing, it might be regional though. Getting everything as was before the COVID hoax. |

strained chain User ID: 7643679 United States 05/27/2020 11:31 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | 2 hour Prime Now delivery here seems to land in about 90 minutes when the items are in stock. I've heard of delays in logistics packages just because the inbound (sorted) trucks did not show up in time to distribution. Delays on the customer end would indicate high volume orders that are 4x what the normal system is programmed for. Look for meat shortages with Fresh soon. |

Those Walton white heads deserve a summary death sentence too. Why not have world class safe trucks in a global society? Some people are going to say I hate trucks or truck drivers. I love truck drivers. They make me think of Kyle Carpenter and that brave pilot who stayed with it and steered his plane away from hurting people. I'll tell you something the American Trucking Associations never will. For every Kyle Carpenter that jumped on a grenade there have been a hundred truck drivers who have steered 80,000 lbs of mayhem where it would do the least harm. Those people are some of the best among us. Jeff Bezos and the Waltons could save some of those men and women, and the kids in the back seat, but it's more profitable to kill them... |
