Prisoners have frequently died of positional asphyxia, from simply laying on their stomach while handcuffed. That is why they do not let officers "hog tie" (arms handcuffed behind their back, feet shackled together and chained to the handcuffs, with the prisoner on their stomach) violent prisoners anymore. Some died on the backseat of the patrol car while they were being transported.

Completely irrelevant. The suspect was in custody and no longer resisting. Any justified need for the use of force had long passed before the video started. The cop is guilty of voluntary manslaughter and the other officers are guilty as accomplices.

Watching that entire fucking video really sealed it for me. Was very hard to watch. It seems almost obvious that he is dead by the time the ambulance arrived.
