Imagine what an outlier an incident like this really is in the grand scheme of things? Doesn't matter...it fits the narrative of white vs black and the coronavirus = end of world is failing so this is a nice fall back. Not only that but things like this are used as a deterrent for what really may be going on at the time.

Notice how quickly the whole Vegas shooting stuff went away? That was old news in a week or two. Biggest US soil mass shooting in history and it kind of went away like a fart in the wind. Questions coming up with that event certain people did not like...so it went away .

I think some very powerful people outside the govt but that work with or have similar interests with certain sectors of govt control the media. And that's why we get what we get.
