Not uninformed, but maybe a little misled since your more recent exposure is limited to an area with higher Black concentration... many California Hispanics in the urban environments lean way more left than the rest. I would say that in most of the rest of the country, what the other poster said was true: Most Latinos don't like Blacks. In urban California, I think racial tensions are a lot lower except from the Blacks, and in rural California it's from the whites.
