Should I buy this cheap 1 acre property with a trailer?

If it has a well and septic you can always trash the trailer and build upon the land. One acre isn't that much. Look for a deal with more acreage!

Looks like the house needs a new roof as I see plastic there and water stains throughout the carpeting-- that at least $5,000-$10,000..

Before moving in, I would immediately get a dumpster, and do the following:

--Rip out the carpeting and torn up vinyl floors, and put down a nice gray Pergo-- or even just paint the floors and seal with polyurethane-- better than stained crappy carpeting.
--rip out the weird warped wood panels on one kitchen wall, and drywall it then paint a light color.
--cut down the bushes blocking light from the house.
--Paint the kitchen and cabinets a light gray color
-Paint all rooms a light creamy white or mod shades of gray.
- add a large raised bed veggie garden

Its a great deal-- but may cost more than you think to make it habitable and a happy light filled home. But you could grow a lot of veggies and have a chicken coop on 1 acre.

I'd go for it-- especially since you wont have HOA fees or trailer park fees and the taxes are only $50 a year...
